Why do people suck? Why do we continue to put our trust in people only to be let down? I know not everyone is like that; it just seems everyone I meet is like that. The saddest part is I’m not even all that upset that we broke up. I’m more upset in the fact that I wasted time and energy on that person only to have them prove that they were far more immature than I could have ever guessed. I suppose the saddest part for me is feeling rejected and then not having someone to spend evenings with. And that doesn’t say much for my emotional attachment. I really dislike him right now but I also just feel really sorry for him. Sorry that he can’t see that he needs to stand up and be a man and take the blame for his actions. Sorry that he’s probably never going to do that and when he thinks about me in the future the whole stupid mess will be my fault and he won’t even notice that he played a significant role in the demise of our relationship. Then again…I’m not really all that sorry for him. More sorry for me because that’s just what you do.
